Bernard Leduc, MBA’10, was named to the Order of Ontario, the province’s highest civilian honour. Bernard, who retired from his role as president and CEO of Ottawa’s Hôpital Montfort in June 2023, launched the Institut du Savoir Montfort, which became a leader in training Franco-Ontarian health professionals and he created the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub, providing innovative outpatient care. Since 2015, Montfort has been listed as one of the top 40 research hospitals in Canada, and in 2019, it entered Newsweek magazine’s list of the world’s top 1,000 hospitals.
Heathcliff Lewis, MBA’10, is living in Toronto and has welcomed a third child, Rhys Scarlett Lewis.
Corrine Luxon, BCom’10, tells us she’s been working for Red Light Management and the Smashing Pumpkins as the band’s head of social media, merchandise and archival vinyl. Last year, Corrine (left in photo above) joined the band at over 40 shows, documenting the tour and assisting with its VIP program. “I was recently on Billy Corgan’s podcast discussing my role and how I got my start at Queen’s University.”
Ashley Martin, BCom’10, MSc’12, was named one of 2021’s "Best 40 Under 40 Professors" by Poets & Quants. An assistant professor of organizational behaviour at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Ashley was nominated by students for her empathy, passion and ability to make Zoom classes engaging.
