Rafael J. Lopez de Azua (EMBA) has moved his family to Mason, OH (near Cincinnati) to take a job with P&G as Assistant Brand Manager in global Oral Care (Crest & Oral-B). “We are all very exited as the family takes another step in this adventure,” he writes.

Ahmad Bakhshai, BCom’10, writes that he was awarded the 2023 FP Canada Fellow distinction for his contributions to furthering FP Canada’s mandate to lead the advancement of professional financial planning in Canada. Ahmad is the AVP of advanced wealth planning at Wellington-Altus and an adjunct professor at Smith.

Daniela Andrews, AMBA, BCom’03, left Canada at the end of March after deciding “in a moment of either clarity or insanity (sometimes it's hard to tell the difference)” that 2015 was her year for adventure. She has since travelled to more than 15 countries in Southeast Asia and Europe, chasing sunshine and an endless summer. Chetan Channa, MBA’10, tells us he recently joined Microsoft as a product manager, after eight years in the startup world. He and his wife are living in India with their two-year-old son, Zhyaan. “Due to the pandemic, the last two years have been crazy both personally and professionally but I absolutely loved spending the time at home with my son due to working from home. Looking forward for things to get normal.”

John Paul de Silva, MBA, is leading the marketing efforts at the non-profit tech startup Hopeful Inc. The firm has raised $400,000 in pre-seed funding and was recently accepted into Berkeley University’s SkyDeck accelerator program.
