Jennifer Ross, BCom, has returned to Queen’s University as the project lead for the Campus Wellness Project, an initiative by the school to advance a culture of well-being at all levels of the school. Jennifer said, “It's great to be back. Loving Queen's life – again!”

Lea Anne (Brueton) Sexton (BCom) is celebrating her first year as head of her own consulting business, Two Way Consulting (TWC) (www.twowayconsulting.ca) in Vancouver, BC. TWC works with project managers of development and infrastructure projects to effectively engage and communicate with residents and businesses in the communities where the projects are being planned or built. Tanya van Biesen, BCom’91, has joined Korn Ferry as managing partner, CEO succession Canada and as a senior client partner at Korn Ferry’s global board and CEO services practice. Prior to joining the consulting firm, Tanya spent six years working for Catalyst, a non-profit focused on accelerating progress for women in the workplace.

In 2005, Geoffrey Varga (BCom) joined Kinetic Partners – a global professional services firm focused on the asset management industry – to head up their insolvency and forensic offerings. He is currently a partner in both their New York and Cayman Islands offices.

William Woodruff, BCom, died on Aug. 24, 2019. Always the bright light in every room, Bill's kindness and humour were enjoyed by all. Bill had a wide circle of friends and office co-workers who will miss his engaging presence and his wonderful smile.

Deborah Yedlin, MBA, is now president and CEO of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. “I am excited to serve the business community at such a critical moment and look forward to building on the chamber’s 130-year history of supporting and growing the business community,” Deborah says.

Deborah Yedlin, MBA, has been named the University of Calgary’s 14th chancellor. Deborah spent more than two decades as a journalist, writing about business and politics for the Financial Post, Globe and Mail and Calgary Herald. She was also a regular commentator on CBC and CTV.

Charles M. Dowdall (MBA) has been appointed Director of Community Housing, Family & Seniors, for the Toronto Community Housing Corporation. This position has him overseeing the daily operations of 31,000 subsidized housing units.
