Jim is a supply chain and operations advisor who helps executives create enterprise value by making better decisions about their supply chains, building stronger operating capabilities, and managing the trade-offs that drive growth, service, cost, cash flow, and resilience.

Over more than 30 years with Deloitte, he has led global and North American transformations spanning supply chain strategy, planning, sourcing and procurement, manufacturing operations, distribution and logistics, network design, operating models, performance management, and technology. His experience extends from diagnostic assessment and Board-approved strategy through detailed design, implementation, governance, capability transfer, and benefits realization.

His track record includes recurring benefits measured in hundreds of millions of dollars, with demonstrated improvements in revenue, margin, cost, inventory, cash-to-cash performance, customer service, forecast accuracy, productivity, capacity, and transportation efficiency.

From 2019 to 2025, Jim served as Global Leader of Deloitte’s Supply Chain & Network Operations practice, with responsibility for its global offerings, assets, alliances, and eminence. He has also held senior global, Americas, and Canadian practice and industry leadership roles. The Consulting Report recognized him as one of the Top 25 Global Operations Consultants and Leaders from 2023 to 2026.

Jim has a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo and a MBA from the University of Toronto. He is a Professional Engineer and 6-Sigma Master Black Belt.

Edward Greenspon is a Canadian journalist, think tank leader and public affairs commentator whose work touches on politics and policy, business and economics, and geopolitics. He also currently serves as an executive advisor to Deloitte Canada and co-chair of the firm’s Future of Canada Centre.

Ed is best-known for his career at The Globe and Mail, where he was variously Editor-in-Chief, Ottawa bureau chief, founding editor of globeandmail.com, managing editor of the Report on Business and a foreign correspondent based in Europe.

Ed has also served as President & CEO of the Public Policy Forum think tank, where he led work on Canada’s energy transition, Canada-U.S. relations, China, the future of news media, and other subjects.

Ed is a graduate of Carleton University and the London School of Economics and is the co-author of two books on Canadian policy, politics and public opinion.

As President and CEO of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, one of Canada’s largest business advocacy organizations, Daniel Tisch is a leading national voice on business and public policy issues.

Daniel has held senior executive and governance roles in the private, public and non-profit sectors. He is known globally as an expert in corporate communications, public policy, community engagement, crisis and reputation management.

From 2003 to 2023, Daniel was the CEO, majority owner and driving force in building Argyle Communications (now Changemakers) into Canada’s largest management-owned corporate communication, stakeholder engagement and reputation advisory firm.

Earlier in his career, Daniel held senior communications roles in the Canadian government, including serving as Senior Policy Advisor and Acting Chief of Staff to Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Daniel has spoken to business audiences on every continent, lectured at Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business since 1996, and contributed to leading public relations and marketing textbooks. He appears regularly in print and broadcast media.

In 2025, Daniel was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his contributions to his community, the province and the country.

Gillian is a Partner in the Growth Office of Deloitte Canada & Chile. She sits on the Growth Leadership Team, serves as Senior Advisor to the Growth Officer and supports the firm’s strategic growth initiatives. Prior to this role, she served as Executive Director in the Office of the Chair, advising the Chair and overseeing the firm’s governance operations and the Chair’s work with Deloitte’s global board.

Gillian is a senior, bilingual leader with extensive experience in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. She is recognized as an effective team builder and problem-solver with deep public policy and communications strategy expertise.

Matt Day is a Partner at Deloitte Canada and the national leader for the Defence, Security & Justice (DS&J) sector within government. Based in Ottawa, he leads strategy, client delivery and growth across Canada’s defence and national security ecosystem, working within key organizations in the sector.

Matt brings over 26 years of experience across defence and national security, including 18 years with Deloitte, 14 of which were spent in Australia supporting the defence and security ecosystem. Prior to Deloitte, he spent 8 years with the UK government.

Matt sits on Deloitte’s Global DS&J Executive Team and serves as the Canadian Lead Partner for NATO. Matt has a strong track record delivering complex transformation programs and building strategic alliances to advance innovation, operational readiness and sovereign capability across the defence sector.

He is passionate about shaping a modern, resilient, and globally competitive Canadian defence sector that is enabled by innovation, partnerships, and a strong domestic industrial base.

Jamie Sawchuk is a Partner with Deloitte Canada and a leader in technology, AI and business transformation. He advises executives, boards, and public sector leaders on innovation, economic growth and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies. His experience spans government, energy, telecommunications, transportation and economic development, with a particular focus on helping organizations leverage technology to create sustainable growth and better outcomes for citizens, customers and communities.

Based in British Columbia, Jamie works nationally and internationally while remaining deeply committed to the long-term prosperity of the province and its communities.

Chelsea Kittleson is the Executive Director of British Columbia's Municipal Pension Plan (MPP), where she provides strategic advice to the Municipal Pension Board of Trustees. With 25 years of finance, capital markets and public sector pension industry experience, Chelsea has a deep understanding of the complexities of managing a defined benefit, multi-employer pension plan.

Prior to joining MPP, Chelsea was a director of client relations at British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI), one of Canada's largest institutional investors. There she advised statutory pension clients and trust funds on investment matters, including performance, strategy and policy.

Chelsea also has over 15 years of experience in capital markets, including as director at CIBC World Markets, and as manager of financing and investor relations at British Columbia Ferry Services Inc.

Chelsea holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. She has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Chelsea is the past president of CFA Society Victoria and a former member of the Future of Finance Content Council with the CFA Institute. She is currently a board member for CFA Societies Canada and 94 Forward, as well as the vice chair of the BC Council of the Association of Canadian Pension Management.

David Lam is Vice Chair and Managing Partner of M&A Corporate Finance at Deloitte Canada. He leads one of Canada’s largest M&A practices, managing a national team of over 100 professionals across eight offices and has more than 25 years of experience advising leading Canadian companies on corporate strategy, M&A and financing across various industries.

Prior to Deloitte, David served as Corporate Development Director at TELUS, advising executive leadership on business opportunities, competitive analysis and strategic initiatives, including M&A.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator.

Andrew Botterill is a professional engineer with over 25 years of experience in oil and gas reserves and energy advisory. He is the lead Partner of Deloitte Canada’s Resources Evaluation & Advisory group in Calgary, which specializes in domestic and international Oil & Gas technical advisory, reserves, resources and economic forecasts. Andrew has issued independent reserves and resource advisory, or other technical and economic Oil and gas advisory in the Europe, US, Canada, Middle East, Australia, Africa and Latin America.

Within Deloitte, Andrew has held various leadership roles spanning its National Oil, Gas & Chemical, Energy & Resources, and Global Financial Advisory practices. He brings this combination of deep technical, financial and strategic insights to upstream, midstream and downstream clients in North America and abroad.

Andrew has also been the lead for the Deloitte O&G Price Forecasting team that issues its quarterly price forecast report Globally examining complicated supply and demand markets, and is an eminent subject matter expert in media on O&G topics related to commodity pricing and industry activity.

Drawing on more than 25 years of leadership in Alberta’s energy industry, Chris Joy is a respected leader, economist and strategist recognized for delivering commercial growth, operational excellence and energy market innovation. Holding an MBA in Finance from Queen’s University and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Calgary, Chris has built a career at the intersection of energy markets, policy, asset management and business transformation.

Over two decades at ENMAX, including ten years as vice-president, Chris led diverse portfolios spanning generation asset management, energy marketing, regulatory advocacy, government relations, commercial development, trading and market analytics. His leadership contributed to major profitability improvements, landmark energy projects and strategic initiatives that helped shape Alberta’s evolving electricity market.

Today, Chris leads energy marketing and analysis for the City of Medicine Hat, bringing deep expertise in electricity and natural gas markets, commercial negotiations, risk management, and energy transition opportunities. He is also the founder of Spark Logik Energy Advisory, an instructor in sustainable energy programs at the University of Calgary, and a board member and treasurer of the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley, reflecting his commitment to developing both the energy sector and the communities it serves.
