Michael Coté, EMBA, became president of Data Communications Management Corp. (DCM) in April. The company is based in Brampton, Ont. Michael joined DCM as senior vice-president, corporate development and strategy in September 2017, and he became SVP and chief commercial officer that November. He’s had an extensive career working in supply chain management. Earlier in his career he practised corporate and commercial real estate law.

Scott Dalgleish, BCom, has been selected as chief financial officer of the Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation, one of the largest oncology community providers in the U.S. Before this role, Scott was CFO of Providence Health Network and Providence’s St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group in California.

Scott Dalgleish, BCom, and Alex Lithwick, BCom’09
Scott Dalgleish, BCom, and Alex Lithwick, BCom’09, welcomed their daughter on Dec. 5, 2017. Ivy Bella Dalgleish was born in Santa Monica, Calif. Scott reports that both Mom and little Ivy are doing well. The Dalgleish family is also moving to Laguna Beach, which is closer to Scott's work as VP of finance for a healthcare-services company. Alex is a VP at Toms Shoes, where she leads the finance team.

Monica Dingle
Monica Dingle, BCom, received the 2017 QUAA Marsha Lampman Branch Volunteer Award in recognition of her leadership role in reviving the Montréal branch and serving as its president for six years. One of her proudest accomplishments was relaunching the John Stirling Montréal Medal in 2013 that honours outstanding alumni in the community.

David McKinnon, EMBA, is Canada’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and Ambassador to the Maldives. He was appointed in August 2017 by Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland. In his long career working for the Department of External Affairs, David has had many overseas posts, including ones in Thailand, Australia, India and Nepal.

Katie Harrigan (BCom) has been promoted from Manager of Compliance to Chief Compliance Officer at Burgundy Asset Management in Toronto. Katie joined Burgundy in 2005 as a Financial Analyst. She began her career at Ernst & Young LLP in 2002, specializing in audits of financial institutions and asset management firms.

These companies specialize in the repair and reclamation of critical wearing components used in many different industries, including mining, cement, agriculture, pulp and paper, etc. He is based in Melbourne, Australia. Faizal Hasham

Faizal Hasham, EMBA, tells us that he has been living overseas since 2016 with his wife, Safeena, and their three boys: Khaleem (13), Zahaan (11) and Nashaan (2). Faizal is the founder and general manager of AQM, an air-quality consulting firm and lifestyle-product distributor, representing such brands as Plume Labs (France), Flare Audio (U.K.), Haspro (Poland) and Roybi Robot (U.S). He is currently working on an air-quality monitoring plan for Expo 2020 that takes place in Dubai this October.

Faizal Hasham

Faizal Hasham, EMBA, says that he and his family are continuing their expat adventures. They’re now residing in Dubai. Faizal is general manager of AQM LLC, a consulting and distribution company that works in air-quality monitoring and management. AQM is partnered with France's Plume Labs, developer of the personal air-pollution monitor Flow.

Faizal A. Hasham
Faizal A. Hasham, EMBA, his wife, Safeena, and two children, Khaleem and Zahaan, moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE, from Ottawa, in 2016. Faizal is an environmental engineering consultant in air quality with the Environment Agency in Abu Dhabi. Safeena works for the health authority as a pediatric ear, nose and throat surgeon. Faizal says he and his family “are loving the adventure of living in a new country, exploring our own understanding of the world and finding new ways to contribute.”
