Robert Wakulat (BCom) who teaches in U of T’s Faculty of Law, was the winner of the Canadian Bar Association National Environmental, Energy and Resources Law Section (NEERLS) Law School Essay Contest for 2008. Robert’s winning essay was “Canada’s 2007 Climate Change Action Plan: Plan of Action or More Hot Air?” It was cited for its depth and scope of analysis, degree of originality and tremendous amount of research.

Carrie Truman (BCom) and Ben Keys (Arts/PHE’00), who married in 2005 and are living in Thornhill, ON, are proud to announce the birth of Natalie Violet Keys at North York General Hospital last Jan. 8. She weighed 7 lb. 11 oz. Carrie is a public relations manager at Procter & Gamble and Ben is Director of Content Distribution at CTV.

Dave Rodgerson (EMBA) is now the Retail Industry Business Development Leader in Mississauga, Ont., for Microsoft Canada, helping clients create new ways to engage customers through mobile and interactive technologies. Dave was also elected to the Board of Advisors at the School of Retail Business at the University of Alberta’s School of Business.

David Stapley (EMBA) is now in his sixth year of living and teaching in China and has no idea when he might return to Canada for good. He currently teaches the Humber College (Toronto) business program to Chinese students and has moved to Xiamen (“think south Florida yearround”) to teach in their Logistics program.
