Christopher Stephan (MBA) was called to the Alberta Bar in June 2009 after articling in Calgary at Gowlings LLP and Walton International Group. Shortly thereafter he and his wife Laura bought a house in Texas and spent two months in Australia and New Zealand. Then Christopher passed the New York State bar exam in July and will be admitted to practise law there this spring. An entrepreneur at heart, the former President of the MBA New Ventures Club launched his company Shared Homes International at the National Home Show in Toronto in February. The company provides consulting, legal and exchange services for purchasers of vacation properties abroad and specializes in shared ownership structures, with multiple owners purchasing one vacation property.
