Workplace harassment poll released

The percentage of Canadians who witnessed or experienced harassment in the workplace noticeably declined in the past two years, according to a Leger Marketing poll commissioned by Queen’s School of Business. “It’s encouraging that the incidence of workplace harassment appears to be declining. The drop suggests that recent legislation and increased education against workplace harassment are helping. However, the fact that roughly one out of four people still admits to experiencing it personally is hardly cause for celebration,” said Jana Raver, Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour.
