Why I started the company: Traditional tutoring is way too expensive due to brick-and-mortar store costs and administrative labour. With modern technology and running a lean model, we see an opportunity to slash consumer pricing by 50 per cent.

What’s another problem that your company solves? Top educators are hard to find online, and they are expensive.

The most fun I've had so far: We had crazy growth in November 2020. Hard work but fun!

Something we tried that didn't work: Using a paid-ads agency. Google Ads are so competitive as it is. There is no room to pay an agency on top of that spend.

The most important thing I've learned about starting a business: It is not easy to be profitable. Building something and marketing something that provides true value over competitors is the only way to succeed.

Advice I'd give a budding entrepreneur: Try to get a customer to pay you and grow.
