John H.L. Hamilton, BCom, MBA’65, died Aug. 18, 2018 at age 79. He was a chartered accountant with Thorne, Riddell & Company. He also spent 25 years with Algonquin College, first as a professor and later as dean of the business school. At retirement, he was president of Acerra Learning Inc., then a division of Algonquin, where he had remained VP of finance and administration. Throughout his career, he maintained a variety of business, public and charitable interests. John is survived by his wife, Jane, and children John and Jen Hamilton, BCom’98.
