Tom Kinnear (BCom,LLD’02, PhD), a distinguished member of Queen’s School of Business’s Advisory Board, on Nov. 4 received a Lifetime Achievement award from the Ann Arbor-based Michigan Venture Capital Association. He is the D. Maynard Phelps Professor of Business Administration at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business. He is also Chairman of the Venture Michigan Fund, which oversees two funds totalling $215 million that invest in venture capital funds that make deals in the state of Michigan.
