Gen Lamorie-Wallace (BCom), along with her chef husband Steve Wallace, has opened Burnt Butter Italian Kitchen in Ottawa, the realization of their lifelong dream. The food is inspired by the flavours and traditions of Italy, Gen says, yet is “infused with Steve’s inventive style that favours simple, seasonal elements.” Burnt Butter has been a hit since its mid-August opening and seats are hard to come by!
