Rob Arnoth (EMBA) achieved a 4th Degree Black Belt (Yondan) in karate and several international honours. Rob studies traditional Okinawan Karate under Kyoshi Tallack in Kingston, ON. While attending the third World Butoku Sai (Martial Virtues Festival) in Kyoto, Japan, in late April, Rob became only the eighth Canadian to receive the coveted Samurai title of Kenshi (Master Instructor). He was part of the Canadian delegation performing for Prince Higashi Fusimi. Rob is pictured outside Kyoto’s ancient Butoku-Den training hall. After 17 years of studying the art and science of karate, Rob says, ”It’s a good struggle for me!”
