Vincent Fung and Munir Jivraj (both EMBA) were among 2008’s outstanding young business leaders selected by CalgaryInc magazine as Alberta’s “Top 40 Under 40.” Vincent, a self-confessed “dancing geek” who owns Alberta Dancesport and has raised Calgary’s profile in the international dance community, was cited as owner, founder and CEO of Debian Information Technologies. Debian manages technology for 400 small and middle-sized businesses across Western Canada. His co-winner Munir Jivraj, a native of Tanzania and now a long-time Calgarian, earned his accolade as the Oilsands royalty planning manager for Suncor Energy Inc., handling up to $3.5-billion in projects annually.
