Brett Sampson

Brett Sampson, EMBA, BA’88, died June 26, 2016, aged 51, peacefully in his home, surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of 30 years, Kim Townsend, Artsci’88; daughters Brooke, Charlotte, and Tess; and extended family. After graduating from Queen’s Economics, Brett travelled throughout Asia and worked in a U.N. refugee camp in Thailand. Upon his return to Canada, he completed his MBA, started his family, and built his career in the printing industry. He had many passions, including canoe tripping, cycling, skiing, “fixing things”, reading, gardening, and anything to do with airplanes.
