Paul Cherry (BCom) has been appointed an officer of the order of Canada in recognition of “his commitment to improving financial reporting, notably through his leadership in developing international accounting standards.” He continues in his role as Chairman of the International Financial reporting Standards Advisory Council and resides in St. John, N.B.
