Wayne A. Waters

Wayne A. Waters (BCom) passed away peacefully at home in Brampton, ON, on March 2 after a five-month battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of 29 years, Patricia (Patty) Maloney, Com’81, and daughters Leigh, NSc’08, and Amanda, Ed’11. Wayne had been a very active volunteer in Brampton for many years, recently serving a term as Board of Trade President (2006-7). At his passing, the Brampton Guardian reported city-wide mourning for the loss of a committed “community leader” and listed the many groups to which Wayne had devoted himself in Brampton and the GTA.
