Mike Schauch (MBA)

Mike Schauch (MBA) kicked off 2010 with 11 other community leaders by climbing 5,895 meters to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. Mike, a Director of UBS Bank (Canada) in Vancouver, was the expedition leader and is a ‘Power to Be’ Adventure Therapy Volunteer. The objective of the climb was to raise funds and awareness for this charity that provides outdoor recreation programs that enrich the lives of disadvantaged children, young adults and their families. The climb raised more than $165,000, and Mike and his wife Chantal are now planning their next adventure.
