The full-time Queen’s MBA
program was re-designed
and now provides more career-focused options
matched to individual students’ goals. Enhancements
include new specializations in high-demand sectors,
the ability to rapidly earn an additional business
Master’s degree and a January start date in synch with
corporate hiring cycles. (See the

The
Accelerated MBA
program welcomed a record
number of students in January 2013, with 44% of the
class comprised of women, the highest percentage of
female students in the program’s history.
Cornell-Queen’s Executive MBA
had another strong
recruiting year with boardroom learning teams based
in eight Canadian and 15 American cities. Of particular
note this year was the further internationalization
of the program with the addition of a team in
Monterrey, Mexico and one in Bogotá, Columbia.

Queen’s Executive MBA
program recruited students
from a record number of non-traditional markets
in addition to major Canadian centres. This year,
individuals from Whitehorse, YT, to Mount Pearl, NL,
joined classmates from other small centres to form
virtual teams, enabled by desktop videoconferencing
technology. (See map on opposite page.)
Queen’s School of Business offers four distinct MBA programs, each designed to meet the unique
requirements of a different segment of the population interested in furthering their careers by
obtaining this highly prized degree.

a combination of on-campus and interactive
videoconference boardroom and virtual team sessions
on Fridays and Saturday mornings of alternate weeks.
*Participants without an undergraduate degree but with extensive
work experience may be considered.

Designed for those with an undergraduate degree
and relevant work experience. Delivered through a
combination of on-campus sessions at Queen’s and
Cornell and interactive videoconference boardroom
sessions held three weekends per month. Graduates
receive both a Queen’s and Cornell MBA degree.
