DEAN’S MESSAGE
This September marks one year since the grand opening of
the Goodes Hall expansion, and I find myself looking back
with pride on the world-class facility we built together with
the support of our alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends.
We now have an outstanding expanded facility in Kingston
to enhance our students’ learning experience and are well-
positioned for growth at our new downtown Toronto facility.
On the international stage, we have 100+ top global
business school partners at which QSB students enhance
their Queen’s experience.
As you’ll see from QSB’s many accomplishments outlined
in the 2012/2013
Year in Review
, we’ve had a great year.
In addition to these highlights, we have also launched our
most recent professional masters program, the Master of
Management Analytics (qsb.ca/mma), and continued to grow
our Summer Innovation Institute (queensinnovation.ca), a
joint initiative with the Faculty of Engineering and Applied
Science to advance innovation and entrepreneurship for
undergraduates.
As we enter the next phase of our fundraising campaign,
I am also looking forward to executing the campaign’s
strategic priorities: increasing student diversity in the
Commerce program; establishing more scholarships for full-
time MBA students; attracting and retaining the best faculty;
and further developing innovative teaching methods.
These strategic priorities will continue to strengthen QSB’s
position as a leader in the increasingly competitive global
business education market. Your support of the school in the
coming years will help us make this happen.
I hope you enjoy the
Year in Review's
look back, as we all
look forward to the school’s continued success.
