Well after graduation, our alumni continue to have an impact on Queen’s School of Business.
From providing financial support, to speaking at student conferences and in the classroom,
to recruiting new graduates and referring prospective students to our programs, alumni
share in the school’s successes and aspirations.
Staying connected
23 QSB alumni events across Canada, the US and UK
brought together 920 attendees.
19 class reunions were held in 2012; 17 are planned for
October 2013 as Homecoming returns to Queen’s.
The QSB Reunion Weekend Brunch in October 2012
attracted a record 236 alumni, faculty and staff.
The second “Queen’s Student Today, Alumni Tomorrow”
luncheon in Toronto brought together 14 alumni and 65
Commerce students.
QSB’s outreach to alumni via social media resulted in
a 25% increase in members joining the QSB Alumni
group and an 83% increase in followership of
@QSB, the school’s Twitter account.
Alumni Connections
ALUMNI
Thank you Alumni Volunteers!
Hundreds of alumni donated their valuable time to numerous initiatives, events and activities in support of
the school. Programs for students — including conferences and competitions, mentoring, career support and
recruitment initiatives — all rely heavily on alumni participation.
