Kingston, Ont. – This January, the business school will welcome a new wave of Team Canada athletes into the Smith family. Five athletes have been awarded Game Plan Scholarships to pursue their post-secondary education in business as part of Smith’s ongoing partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee.

Kingston, Ont. – A Smith School of Business initiative that launched on Monday will bring online business training to a First Nations community in British Columbia. Thirty-five members of the Xeni Gwet’in community will take part in the 12-week program to earn a Certificate of Completion in Administration and Business Management through the Centre for Business Venturing at Smith.

Kingston, Ont. – Five alumni of Smith School of Business have been elected to the University Council of Queen’s. The University Council is one of three governing bodies at Queen’s. Members act as key ambassadors of the university, as well as advisers to the university’s two other governing bodies – the Senate and Board of Trustees – on matters affecting the well-being and prosperity of the university.
