Indigenous reconciliation in business

Kingston, Ont. – In a second-year Commerce class recently, students presented their solutions to a series of business cases. First, though, they took part in a smudging ceremony. It was part of an effort by Smith lecturer Karen Humphreys Blake to address the education-related recommendations of Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission in her business ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR) class.

Kingston, Ont. – Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and Guanghua School of Management at Peking University in Beijing, China, have announced a partnership that will see Commerce students from Smith study in China and earn two undergraduate degrees: one from Queen’s University and the other from Peking University.
