Queen’s Commerce students honed their case competition skills during the Oct. 1 weekend at Goodes Hall. The Queen’s Case Competition (QCC) is open to Queen’s Commerce students and provides excellent training for those interested in participating in the Intercollegiate Business Case Competition (ICBC) and other QSB and external competitions. ICBC is Canada’s premiere undergraduate business case competition, hosted annually by Queen’s Commerce Society and open to participants from across Canada and around the world.

QCC is an attractive event for Commerce students: there are no fees to participate, and competitors receive a communications workshop credit along with the opportunity of networking with sponsors, such as Ernst & Young, Monitor Group, Bain & Company, Chubb Insurance, FunData, and Level 5. Over 150 students competed and took advantage of preparation workshops and networking events in addition to gaining invaluable first-hand experience by presenting their cases to the judges.
