QSB Magazine now online and interactive

Posted on July 4, 2011

QSB Magazine, the publication for alumni, students and friends of Queen’s School of Business, is now online at qsb.ca/magazine. This interactive version includes web-only content such as embedded videos and photo galleries. Readers can also comment on stories, share content with friends and colleagues, search Alumni Notes to see what classmates are up to, and check out past issues.

The print version is published twice per year, in January and June, and is mailed to all 13,000 QSB alumni in Canada and around the world. Now the magazine is accessible to anyone with an internet connection. QSB alumni can also choose to receive e-mail notification of upcoming issues and opt out of receiving the print version by mail.

The current Summer 2011 issue features a cover story on BCom’03 grad Neil Pasricha, author of the best-selling “Book of Awesome” and “The Book of (Even More) Awesome.” Prof. Pam Murphy’s research on fraud is the subject of another feature story, as is the Manhattan ‘A’ Team – profiled in recognition of the Cornell-Queen’s Executive MBA program’s fifth anniversary. Other alumni showcased include Spencer Fraser, EMBA’03, who is leading a Canadian company that specializes in drone technologies; Benita Warmbold, BCom’80, COO of the CPP Investment Board; and Jeremy Estabrooks, BCom’98, who writes about his experiences in Russian banking. School news, alumni happenings and Alumni Notes round out the current issue.
