International business school partners provide second Master’s degree and hands-on global perspective
KINGSTON, ON, – Queen’s School of Business is extending the global scope of the Master of Management in Global Management (MGM) program by offering students the unique opportunity to earn two degrees while in the program with one of five international business school partners.
“The MGM program already includes a 6-month international exchange. These double degree options enable our students to take it that much further, actually earning a second degree,” said Eric Leblanc, the Program Director.
Queen’s MGM students can complete a second Master’s degree while enrolled in the program with one of five international partners including: HEC International Business School (France), Mannheim University (Germany), SDA Bocconi School of Management (Italy), Maastricht University – Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Netherlands), and Copenhagen Business School (Denmark).
“Business leaders and recruiters across Canada and abroad tell us they want managers with first-hand knowledge of cross-cultural business practices,” said David Saunders, Dean of Queen’s School of Business. “We have partnered with some of the top business schools in the world to ensure our students are prepared for business on a global scale.”
Students who participate in any of the MGM double degree option will gain a keen understanding of international culture and business practices by completing their second degree abroad. In most cases and upon completion of the program, graduates of the double degree options have the right to work in the country in which the second degree is earned.
“Demand for the international experience and business knowledge is strong, and these double degree options fill and unique and important niche,” said Dean Saunders, who is also Vice President of the board of EFMD, the European Foundation for Management Development.
