QSB Alum Gord Nixon named CEO of the Year

Distinguished Queen’s Commerce alumnus Gord Nixon, President and C.E.O. of RBC Financial Group was named Canada’s Outstanding C.E.O. of the Year for 2007. The award, sponsored by the Caldwell Partners International, the National Post and CTV Inc., honours Mr. Nixon for his role in leading record-breaking performance at Canada’s biggest bank as well as his contribution to healthy debate on matters affecting the whole of Canada’s economy. A long-time member of the Queen’s School of Business Advisory Board, Mr. Nixon has been a strong supporter of the School. The award was announced in the September 20 edition of the National Post.
