STUDENT AMBASSADORS

Sundaresa Bharadwaj Goteti

I came to Queen’s MBA Program because ...

Before beginning my Queen’s MBA, I worked with one of the world’s biggest banks, Citigroup, providing banking and cash management solutions to corporates across various industries and geographies. After gaining 6+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector, I wanted to learn consulting skills, network across multiple geographies and apply domain knowledge in the field of consulting. My first MBA in India enabled me to enter the business world and acquire business experiences like team-handling and financial services expertise. The Queen’s MBA allows me to develop my international networks and fine-tune my consulting skills.

I chose Queen’s MBA because of three key reasons.

First, the small class size and diverse composition, which allow you to make meaningful networks and learn from each other’s experiences. There is diverse learning; one day, you will be discussing the western-world economy, another day you will discuss Brexit, and on a third day, you will talk about Chinese exports and Indian demonetization. Second, the team-based approach towards business learning exposes students to a multi-cultural and diverse environment and allows you to move out of your comfort zone and learn. Third, the timeline of the Queen’s MBA (one-year and a January start) allows you to be job-ready before the other schools end, which makes the students more attractive to recruiters.
