I came to Queen’s MBA Program because ...

I completed my undergraduate degree at York University followed by my Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Science with a focus on Epidemiology at York University. After graduation, I was hired at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and assisted in research to improve the health and quality of life of cancer survivors. As I gained experience and interacted with many healthcare workers and patients, I took a more active interest in the business side of healthcare.

This growing interest motivated me to apply the Queen’s MBA at Smith School of Business to develop my business acumen. I chose Smith because of its “family” feel and smaller class size. The program is also 12 months in duration and would allow me to minimize the amount of time away from the workforce. After careful consideration of various MBA programs, I chose Smith due to its prestige and reputation. Many of the alumni I spoke to assured me of Smith’s world class curriculum and outstanding job placement rate.
