STUDENT AMBASSADORS

Prateek Baghel

I came to Queen’s MBA Program because ...

I have always preferred quality over quantity. I was looking for a small class-sized MBA program where I could forge meaningful relationships and lifelong friendships. I am a big believer of Rudyard Kipling’s words in the Jungle Book: “The strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack.” Therefore, I was looking for a program where the class environment was supportive and team-based, and not overly competitive. Lastly, I was looking to a 1 year program to save some opportunity cost. The Queen’s MBA was perfect. Along with the Queen’s MBA program, I will be undertaking the Master of Management Analytics (MMA) program.

Given that quantitative subjects have been my strength and that I have an interest in Analytics, I felt that the Queen’s MBA+MMA program would not only greatly boost my career profile but also help me switch career industries smoothly, and eventually help me obtain my dream job. The strong alumni network, the career coaching, the world-class faculty, and the extremely helpful Queen’s MBA staff, created the perfect blend for a symbiotic community, whose part I wanted to be.

If I had to sum up my experience as well as the culture at Queen’s MBA, then I’d use Dumbledore’s words: “Help will always be given at Queen’s MBA to those who ask for it.”
