I came to Queen’s MBA Program because ...

I had been aspiring to do an MBA for a number of years and reached a point in my career at which it seemed the right time. I was keen to make a slight change of career direction and the one-year program suited my aspirations perfectly. While working at RBC I came across a number of Queen's MBA graduates who had nothing but positive things to say about the program, and this also shone through in their professional behaviour and quality of work.

When I looked at the programs available, the Queen's MBA started to really stand out. It was very clear that Queen's was not just about a great educational experience, but also very focused on relationships. The smaller class size automatically encourages a closer-knit environment, and this is built on with the very personal approach taken by every single member of staff at Queen's.

The MBA at Queen's recognizes that building the best leaders of tomorrow is not just about learning facts in a classroom. The team experience is fantastic and so relevant to the real world, where it is unlikely you will ever be working on your own. The program is so geared to a well-rounded experience and most importantly an experience practical and relevant to the workplace, and this was the biggest draw for me.

I was looking for a program where I could learn from a variety of diverse backgrounds and experiences, and Queen's has far exceeded my expectations.
