With 10 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on corporate banking sales, I was looking for a transition from frontline sales to a strategic planning position. Queen’s MBA became a perfect fit for me because of its strength in strategic management. I plan to acquire the best academic tools in strategic management from its world-renown faculty. I plan to explore my deep interest in strategy by specializing in general management and taking elective courses such as Financial Strategy, Market-Based Strategy and Strategy & Governance, which will help me develop a strategic-thinking mindset.

Queen’s MBA also attracted me with its innovative teaching/ learning approaches, such as “learning by doing”. This reinforces my general management expertise through immersive team-based learning tools such as case studies, class instruction and discussion, and real world business projects.

On top of this, Queen’s MBA impresses me mostly by its unique and valuable coaching culture. I believe this coaching support will help me leverage my potential.
