I came to Queen’s MBA Program because ...

There are many top-notch MBA programs in Canada, however I chose the Queen’s MBA because of its diversity, small class size, and the team-based learning approach. Having 80 students representing so many different cultures and countries allows us to consider different perspectives. The one-year program structure is academically rigourous, so there are times when the pace is quite busy. Having kind and supportive faculty helps to make everything much more manageable.

Prior to the Queen’s MBA, I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Anatomy & Economics and subsequently worked in Vancouver and Toronto in the finance industry for 2.5 years – specifically in retail banking and the mutual fund industry. With a couple years of experience in the finance industry, I wanted to pivot into a finance role in the Healthcare/Pharma sector. Pursuing my MBA (specializing in healthcare) allows me to expand my knowledge in healthcare and hone my soft skills to excel in any future career opportunities.
