During my application process, the team-based learning model, 360-coaching support and constantly supportive program staff stood out to me. I was seeking an environment that would push me to achieve more while also providing support during challenges. The intensive one-year and in- person program allows me to fully immerse myself in MBA student life and fast-track my career goals. Having lived in BC for the past 10 years, I was also eager to experience life in Eastern Canada. Combined with Smith’s well-recognized reputation and strong alumni network, these factors ultimately led me to pursue my MBA at Smith.

If I could go back and give myself advice one year ago, I would say: don’t hesitate to put yourself out there and seek opportunities and support and; don’t underestimate yourself, the structure in Smith is designed to help you reach your goal.

My advice for applicants is to arrive with clear intentions and an open mind. Be ready to broaden both your knowledge and your social network through teamwork, social networking events and engaging lectures.

Through my MBA experience, I aim to strengthen my leadership and networking skills that will help me to become a female leader in the logistics and supply chain field and to create a meaningful impact on society in the future.
