I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

I wanted to intentionally invest in my long-term future. After working several years in the traditional 9-5 role. I knew I wanted to take a step back to learn, grow and build a new foundation of knowledge. I was looking for a program that would challenge myself academically while also encouraging self-awareness collaboration and personal growth.

What drew me specifically to Smith was the strong sense of community and its applied team-based learning model. The faculty and staff are deeply invested in student success, and the classroom environment encourages open dialogue, diverse perspectives, and learning by doing.

If I could go back and give myself advice one year ago, it would be to trust the process and not to wait for the "perfect" moment to apply. Growth rarely happens when things feel comfortable and choosing Smith has reinforced me that stepping into uncertainty can be incredibly rewarding.

Through the MBA journey I am hoping to refine my leadership style, expand my strategic skill set, and build a strong professional network. Long term I aspire to take on leadership roles where I can drive meaningful change, influence organizational strategy, and continue learning through my career.
