My advice to myself one year ago would be to follow my gut and go for it. It can feel scary to leave a stable job and move cities to study full-time for a year, but only a few weeks into the program, I already see the value of this investment. The growth, knowledge and connections you get out of the Full-time MBA are invaluable. Take the leap, and make it worth it.

I encourage applicants to put a lot of thought into finding the right school for them. If you feel Smith aligns with your values and goals, chances are you are the kind of candidate the admissions team is looking for. Connect with students, alumni and the admissions team to learn more about the program and culture. Visiting the school in person before applying also confirmed for me that Smith’s welcoming and ambitious community was the clear choice.
