I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

education is transformative, and collaboration is a catalyst. I chose Smith to immerse myself in an experience driven by rigorous academia and a high-performance team environment, where discipline is cultivated, leadership is sharpened and growth is accelerated. Applying as a current student in the MSc (HQ) program, the dual-degree option complemented my aspiration to strengthen my health systems expertise, executive capability and strategic judgement, skills advanced by Smith’s distinguished curriculum.

Furthermore, every student in the program carries a unique story, one that enriches the program’s strong and diverse network. As an applicant, delve into your distinctions. Articulate the moments that shaped your leadership and authentically show how Smith’s experience will sharpen your skills and help you grow into the leader you aim to become.

Moreover, the person I was one year ago is not the person I am today, and that sense of innocence is something to treasure. The Smith MBA is not a stage for comfort; it is a foundation built upon moments of pressure, doubt and challenge. Entering the program as the youngest student, I would advise myself to remain true to who I am, to trust my voice, to lead with curiosity and, most notably, to continuously learn from those around me.

Holistically, through the Smith MBA, I hope to further my career in healthcare leadership both locally and globally. I aim to strengthen my strategic and financial acumen while developing the executive judgment needed to lead organizations through complexity. I aim to become a leader who not only adapts to change but also architects it, transforming today’s uncertainty into tomorrow’s progress.
