I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

of two core factors. Firstly, I tremendously value the vibrant and inclusive atmosphere I experienced during my undergraduate studies at Queen's. Secondly, the MBA program has an exceptional reputation for producing business leaders. The program's unique teaching approach fosters an environment that encourages team-based learning and exchanging ideas, both essential in today's business market. I was particularly drawn to the school's emphasis on blended teaching through real-world projects, case studies, and simulations. This approach aligns perfectly with my learning style.

My post-MBA aspirations revolve around integrating the business insights I am acquiring with my existing engineering expertise. I aim to leverage this combination to secure a managerial position where I can orchestrate effective strategies, optimize operational processes, and lead teams in technology-driven industries. With its emphasis on individual and team coaching, the Smith School of Business provides an unparalleled opportunity to excel in these goals.

My advice for younger applicants hesitant to apply to the program is to push yourself out of your comfort zone and be yourself. Emphasize volunteer and leadership experience outside of a professional setting in your application. If an MBA is what you want to do, you can do it, and Smith is a great choice!
