I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

In my quest to find the right MBA program for me, I learned about the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. The more I researched this esteemed university, the more I found it to be the perfect school for me. The offerings provided by Smith were significantly aligned with what I was looking for in a business program. Offerings such as the chance to learn from such an experienced faculty, which includes Mr. Blair Robertson, an industry expert in Investment Banking (M&A) - the field I want to enter after the MBA program - and the opportunity to learn from someone like Mr. Jonathan Aikman, who is at the forefront of using artificial intelligence and machine learning in finance, which I believe to be the future of finance.

The various centers, such as the Center for Sustainable Investing and the Center for Social Impact, were also great draws because they align with my values of giving back to society and being more socially responsible. These values are very important to me. The chance given to students via the Queen's University Alternative Assets Fund and the TriColour Venture Fund to experientially learn about the various types of investments is invaluable to any student. The vast and accommodating alumni network and the Career Services and Coaching Team were considerable value adds for me that I didn't find in many programs.

I felt that studying at the Smith School of Business would provide me with numerous experiences that few other business schools can offer, and I couldn't have been more right about it. Learning in Canada's #1 MBA program has been a transformational experience for me.
