I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2016, majoring in Employment Relations and Linguistics.
I have worked at TD Canada Trust for approximately three years, progressing from an entry-level to a managerial position. I provided consistent coaching and career advice to my teammates while maintaining branch operations in a compliant and efficient manner. This further developed my interpersonal and leadership skills in a professional and fast-paced setting.

I was looking for an MBA degree to elevate my work experience to a higher level to become a better leader with the combination of refreshed skills and knowledge. After comprehensive research on the Smith full-time MBA program, I am pleased with its innovative team-based program design and extensive international partnership network. A few close colleagues and friends of mine graduated and benefited from this program and recommended it. I have seen them utilize the skills and knowledge acquired from the Smith MBA program to aid a career transition and professional growth, and I would like to follow suit.

My post-MBA goal is to create a career transition from Financial Services to Human Resources or Consulting, and more importantly, to improve my leadership skills with a more diverse and more in-depth understanding of the business world.
