I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

This program offered me the fastest turnaround back to the labour market while also maintaining a reputation as the best program in Canada. I was fascinated by the team-based learning approach, and it grew on me as this replicated my previous work experience.

Every contact point during the admission process reflected the warmth and genuine concern to ensure I was making the best decision. Regardless of the time difference, every inquiry I had was responded to in a timely manner, which was impressive.

As an international student with aspirations of building a great career, the Smith MBA perfectly services the goal. The program is intensive and seeks to equip people with skills to give them an edge in every form possible. I came into the program wanting to improve my business acumen and technical skills. I also wanted to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experienced this firsthand from my orientation to the first day in class.

If I went back in time, I would say that you should know what you want and prepare early. I would also take a step back and ask more questions from the program's admissions team or alumni to gain clarity on any issues. This would have helped me to make a quicker decision.

Post-MBA, I would like to focus on financial consulting. I am particularly interested in roles that drive companies' strategy, especially those in the financial services industry.
