I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

I have always had a dream to do my MBA from a prominent business school. My desire to study in a small cohort in an intimate atmosphere, where I can get to know all my colleagues and develop a professional network, has brought me to the Smith School of Business.

Smith’s MBA program has a small class size, cutting-edge curriculum, and impressive reputation among post-MBA employers. The program is delivered in a team-based learning environment in which individuals strive to become high-performing team members.  Collaboration aids learning from the diverse backgrounds of others. Another critical aspect of the Smith MBA is exploring your strengths and working on your areas of improvement, supported by various incredible coaches: career, team, executive, and lifestyle. Right from the start, I felt connected to the Smith culture when I got in touch with the application advisor and alumni who supported me through the process. I'm glad I made the right choice to opt for the Smith MBA program and become part of this close-knit community.

If I could go back, I'd tell myself to speak to the current students to learn more about their experience with the program. This would certainly have given me more clarity and facilitated my decision-making process.

My tip for future applicants would be to achieve your best GMAT score and apply early in the admissions cycle. Reflect on your strengths and accomplishments to highlight the unique values you can bring to the MBA program.

My ambition is to become a well-rounded leader who can act ethically, work effectively in teams, and strive to impact the community positively. I'm intrigued by technology, and I want to transition into a role where I can combine technology with business strategy to bring organizations closer to their customers.
