Fees & Financing

The program fee is all-inclusive, covering tuition, books, all learning materials, career and team coaching, as well as meals and accommodation during the residential sessions held at Smith School of Business.

Fees are subject to final approval from the Queen's Board of Trustees.

Fees include the Student Assistance Levy of $33.33 per term.

Ontario Student Assistance Program

Those accepted into the Accelerated MBA Program can now apply for OSAP. As stated on the OSAP website, OSAP is a needs-based program and provides eligible Ontario students with financial assistance to help pay for their tuition, books, mandatory fees, living costs and transportation. Please visit OSAP to determine your eligibility and to apply for an OSAP loan.

RRSP Withdrawals

You and your spouse may be eligible to make tax-free withdrawals from your RRSPs of up to $10,000 each to help fund your education. Please contact your income tax advisor for details.

Canada-Alberta Job Grant

Eligible employers can get government funding to help employees access training opportunities. For more information visit the website.

Personal Income Tax Treatment of Tuition Fees

Participants who pay all or part of the program fees personally, may be eligible to claim a tuition tax credit on the tuition portion of the fees. For more information, ask a professional income tax advisor to give you an assessment of the impact of your tuition on your personal tax situation.

Smith School of Business is the first Canadian business school to join Forté Foundation. This group of major corporations, top business schools and influential non-profit organizations is dedicated to directing women towards business education and business leadership roles, as well as working with corporations to more effectively attract and retain female talent. Each year, Smith awards numerous Forté Foundation Fellowships to highly qualified women entering the MBA program. These Fellowships are valued at $10,000.
