I chose the MIB program because ...

I wanted a genuinely meaningful learning experience in a diverse, globally-minded environment. My exchange semester at Radboud University in the Netherlands during my undergraduate degree was the turning point that shaped this direction: being immersed in a different academic and cultural system showed me how much perspective changes when you learn alongside people from entirely different backgrounds, rather than just reading about global business from a single vantage point. That experience is also what led me to become an International Learning Ambassador at Western, where I got to help other students discover the same kind of cross-cultural growth I had found for myself.

Smith's MIB program stood out because it doesn't just teach international business in theory, it puts students directly into that diverse, globally-engaged environment through its cohort structure and international components, which is exactly the kind of immersive learning I was looking for as I move into my career.
