Renmin/Queen's Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to candidates on the basis of merit.

  • Academic excellence throughout a candidate's academic career
  • Strong references
  • Excellent performance during the admissions interview
  • Exceptional GMAT or English-proficiency test results (if applicable)

All candidates are automatically considered for a scholarship. If you were selected to receive an entrance scholarship, we communicated this to you at the time of your acceptance.

Chinese Government Scholarships

Chinese government offers a series of scholarship schemes to international students and scholars to undertake studies and research in China. Applicants must be Canadian citizens and intend to pursue studies or research at a post-secondary institution. The scholarship will cover tuition fee, accommodation on campus, medical insurance, living allowance and one-off settlement subsidy.

Documents required:

  • Application Form for Chinese Government
  • Highest diploma and transcript (notarized photocopy)
  • A study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 200 words for undergraduates, no less than 500 words for scholars)
  • Applicants for master or doctoral degree studies must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors.
  • Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form filled in English, attached with other medical tests as required
