Ampai is a social entrepreneur and the founder of two nation-wide non-profit community organizations, an African Caribbean, Vietnamese/Lao and Ballet dancer, self-taught electric guitarist and pianist, wannabe yet failed Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen, and Queen's University Alumnus. She is also a L'Oréal Paris Woman of Worth, Top 22 Under 22 Most Inspiring College Woman, CSPN's Entrepreneur of the Year, and Ascend Canada's and Royal Bank of Canada's Social Impact Award Recipient. Ampai strives to make an impact in the mental health accessibility space and hopes to complete her MBA to learn how to transform the organizations she has founded into vehicles for actionable change.
