Stefan Pagura

Stefan is currently an Investment Officer with the Innovative and Climate Finance Bureau at Global Affairs Canada. He principally works on the International Assistance Innovation Program (IAIP), a $900m program targeting investments in developing economies. The IAIP was created to demonstrate that investing in support of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals can bring both developmental and financial returns. By addressing market failures that affect the poorest and most vulnerable, the program aims to create visible demonstration effects for others looking to invest for both impact and profit.

Prior to joining the Government of Canada, Stefan worked at Social Finance UK, and Convergence. Stefan has an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BAH from Queen’s University.
