Syed Naqvi

Syed joined USB in 2013. He currently works as a private wealth manager, overseeing the complex portfolio needs of High Net Worth clients and family offices. Syed seeks to develop new and strengthen existing relationships by providing solutions that exceed client’s needs and goals. He has a broad range of experience with some of the banks largest clients, on our specialty offerings such as concentrated single stock lending, sustainable investing, and structured products. Syed is proficient in global portfolio management and in providing clients with a multi-currency perspective. Prior to joining UBS, he worked at a large Canadian bank advising affluent clients on their investment portfolios.

Syed graduated from the Business Management (B.B.A) program from the University of Toronto, and is currently completing his MBA from the Stephen J.R. Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. He completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), and has earned his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, making him a fully licensed portfolio manager. Syed has also finished risk management certification from the University of Toronto, and gained global experience through work terms in Dubai.

Tiffany K. Ellis, CIM, Authorized Officer Private Wealth Associate, Ultra High Net Worth Group, UBS Bank (Canada) Tiffany is a Private Wealth Associate with the Ultra High Net Worth Group in Toronto. She has been working with UBS for over eight years. She supported the Affluent Central and Eastern Europe group, part of UBS Wealth Management Global Emerging Markets in Zurich, Switzerland for over two years. Prior to that, she was a Product Specialist with Wealth Planning, Investment Products and Services division, also in Zurich, for over three years, where she was active in the management, tracking and improvement of mutual funds and alternative investments. Before arriving at UBS in Switzerland, Tiffany spent 6 months at Goldman Sachs Inc. in New York.

Tiffany holds a B.A. in International Development and Political Science from McGill University. She has experience in the non-profit sector in Washington D.C. and New Delhi, as well as at the United Nations in Geneva, giving her unique insight and expertise in sustainable and impact investing.

Tiffany has earned her Chartered Investment Management (CIM) designation, making her a fully licensed portfolio manager.
