Rishi Behari

Rishi Behari is an established lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and has most recently lead workshops for the Smith Masters in Management Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MMIE) program. Specializing in motivation and career mentorship, Rishi is also a Corporate Relationship Manager with the Smith School of Business’ Career Advancement Centre based in Toronto. Having transitioned from a career in the private sector as an entrepreneur, management consultant, and senior VP, Rishi has successfully translated his experiences into a successful career in post-secondary education. Rishi’s roles have included working with undergraduate and graduate students, entrepreneurs and leaders as a professional mentor, developing programs to promote philanthropy, leadership development, and community engagement, as well as presenting on career development techniques, and helping to revolutionize the way campuses & communities engage and support the development of future leaders. In 2016 -2017 Rishi was invited to sit on the visioning committee for the United Way to act as the spokesperson for the Saskatoon chapter’s National Gen Next campaign rebranding and launch. Rishi's background includes undergraduate degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Saskatchewan, a Master’s Degree in Business from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. Rishi also holds special certifications in leadership and negotiation techniques as well as an executive education from the Smith School of Business specializing in leadership and high-performance coaching. Rishi has received numerous awards and recognitions for excellence in teaching, fundraising, and student leadership programming. Outside of his roles in the corporate world and post-secondary education, Rishi has owned and operated a film company, consulted to the Provincial Government of Saskatchewan, appeared nationally and internationally in film, digital, radio, and print as a professional actor, voice actor and model, and as an Entertainment Expert on CTV Morning Live. Starting in the fall of 2018, Rishi will be appearing on CTV’s The Social as a Guest Expert on business, entrepreneurship, and career development.
