Susie Pan

As a 2014 graduate of Smith School of Business and the CRL Certificate program, Susie Pan is a serial entrepreneur. In grade 12, Susie founded the national non-for-profit, Science Expo, an organization dedicated to empowering youth in STEM. Famous for its flagship annual conference, Science Expo has expanded to become a national organization that engages tens of thousands of high school students through multiple outreach and educational programs. Selected as one of Canada’s Next 36, the country’s premier incubator for young entrepreneurs to further Canadian prosperity, Susie co-founded Bombe, a data processing software for scientists, before joining Blynk, a fashion app that won $100K at the International Startup Festival and has been featured on Techvibes, Huffington Post, Toronto Star, Loulou Magazine, City TV, etc.

In January 2014, Susie returned from a 16-month trip abroad living, studying, working, and traveling to over 25 countries in Europe and Asia. During this time, Susie studied in Paris at the world’s first business school, and worked as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence in Malaysia in the leading startup incubator of South East Asia. She also completed a term as Brand Promotion Intern at Red Bull China after a month at Accenture Beijing. Susie has been recognized as a SheEO, the Knightsbridge Entrepreneur, TechGirls’ Portrait of Strength, Shad Valley Scholarship Recipient, Guelph’s Top 40 Under 40, and has spoken at various events including a talk at TEDxRichmondHill.
